what in tarnation is wrong with adium?

I was using Adium 0.89.1. It worked fine. Message windows remembered their place. Life was great.

I decided to try out the new beta, so I completely deleted adium and it's files and installed the beta. The beta was ok, but had some problems that bugged me (hey, it's a beta). One of those problems was not remembering the message window position.

So I completely delete adium again and reinstall good ol' 0.89.1. Now it doesn't remember window positions! ARGH! This is a seemingly minor thing, but it's highly annoying!

Am I alone? Crazy? Weird? SOL?
