I saw an iPad Air 2 Brand New Sealed for sale on eBay which I'm interested in purchasing, however I have a question about it before I buy. What iOS version will this come equipped with? I'm interested in Jailbreaking this device but if it ships with iOS 9.3.4, 9.3.5 or 10.2.1 I will not be able to jailbreak. If anybody knows or has a clue can you please inform me?

[doublepost=1487642824][/doublepost]It depends on when the seller bought the iPad, if he or she bought it recently then that means it's most likely on iOS 10.

Depends when it was shipped to the seller. As simple as that

Just 10.2 or 10.2.1?

10.2 and some with 10.1.1. I work at a school and have opened a couple dozen in the last few weeks. These have been the newer 32gb capacity. If you find the discontinued 16gb or 64gb then they could have iOS 9 still. 128gb has been available and still is so it could be iOS 9 or 10.

If it was very recently like this month or last month then it's most likely 10.2 or 10.2.1. Just look at the release date of each update and a week or two after that is when you start seeing that iOS version being shipped.

According to the seller it was a Christmas gift and he assumed it was purchased in early December so I'm guessing it would be 10.1.1 or just 10.2
