I have had a number of iPods, starting with a 15G 3rd generation. I added a 2G Nano 1st Gen for use when walking, with the Nike kit. I added a 512MB Shuffle 2nd Gen for use when I mow the lawn, shovel the driveway etc.

When I got my iPhone, I stopped using all of the others...

The shuffles are great though for loading pretty much a single playlist, and for taking them somewhere that you might not like to take your "main" ipod, like to beach, etc.

iPod Video (5.0G) 30GB, black, purchased new in mid-January 2006 at the Apple Store on Michigan Avenue in Chicago...

Yeah, I have a good memory...

A 3rd Gen, 20GB I bought 6 or 7 year ago in Thailand. Still working well although the battery life is a lot shorter now.

Silver iPod Nano I got free with my MacBook.

Might buy a Touch a few upgrades down. It had better be good though.

I only have the iPod Classic seen in my sig, which I got through the Back To School promotion when I bought my BlackBook last summer.

I first started with the 1st gen iPod Shuffle, I then moved to a silver iPod mini and then got a 5th gen iPod 60GB (video), then I moved to a iPod touch and I now have an iPhone...so it looks something like this....

1. iPod Shuffle (1GB)
2. iPod mini (4GB)
3. iPod (with video) (60GB)
4. iPod touch (16GB)
5. iPhone (8GB)

I have a 1GB iPod Nano, my sister has a 1GB shuffle (3rd Generation), and my Mum has a 4GB Nano (the current one).

I'm considering buying an iPod Touch, since 1GB just doesn't cut it anymore.

2G iPod 10GB - currently in the freezer, hoping to be revived
1G iPod shuffle 1GB - currently, umm, I'm not sure where
5G iPod 30GB - currently serving car duty, hooked up to my Alpine head unit
1G iPod nano 2GB - for running, with Nike+, when my knees are upto it
1G iPhone 8GB - although, rarely used for music
