The option in "preferences" to make the clock into a 24 hour clock changes it to a digital one? what happens if you click "on"?

24 hour clock doesn't repeat 1-12, it goes 00:00 - 23:59 (i.e., military time). For example, 1:00 PM would read as 13:00.

In my time zone:

24-hour clock - 16.10
12-hour clock - 4.10pm

In here, all digital clocks are 24-hour but I know that in states and other countries people tend to use 12-hour clock with AMs and PMs

Yeah, guys, i know that. but the clock in the nano is an analog clock. so ... how? or you can make it digital? (or maybe in the menu bar the clock is digital so it changes over there?)

Well, I don't own the new nano, but I can give the soundest advice that is sure to answer satiate your curiosity...

Tap 'On'.

It doesn't change the big clock, just the small one at the top of the main navigation screens.

Sorry to necro this thread, but is it possible to change the big clock (the clock app or what have you) into a digital display rather than analog? Had a chance to play with one but forgot to look under prefs.

But doesn't work on my iPod nano 4, even I made 24 hrs, it still displays 12hr...
