What is a Web app for iphone compared to a app in the app store? What is the difference? Thanks

Web apps run in the Safari browser, while native apps run just like a desktop app. Web apps are nothing but modified web pages. Some of them are very good! :)

Web apps require an Internet connection to work - you'll have to be in a WiFi or 3G spot to use them. I prefer the convenience and speed of access that you get with an App that's installed on your device itself (i.e. non-web apps).;)
