I've already got a scratch on it from the previous owner, and am wanting to avoid any more. I'm thinking about reusing my anti glare protector on my 3GS (since I'm replacing that in the next few days with a new one). I'm debating just cutting a square of it and putting it on the :apple:, or a circle, or just cutting around the apple logo with a box cutter (risky, and time consuming, but could have the best results)

I like using the iPad in the case, but 50% of the time I like using it nude ;)

I'd rather not use a huge skin since the aluminum is badass, but just want to avoid any more unnecessary scratches on it.

Dang, I like the aluminum feel too much to want to cover it with the invisible shield, but thanks for the idea!

Like specifically cut out to the size of the logo? Or do you mean something like what I was thinking above: my current protector on my iPhone and cut it down?

You could always order one for a small device and manually cut out the logo shape. I'm pretty sure they make custom sizes as well.

there is a service that they use nylon to wrap the auto or bikes. They charged me 3$ to wrap the ipad in nylon (not the front). I don't know the name. I don't know if USA has that kind of service. In my country, ppl usually cover bikes with sticky nylon. Few months, we will replace the nylon. Therefore, the surface is always clear and clean.

The best result is gonna be gettng an invisible shield kinda thing and then cut it up to cover just the :apple:, it'll take the most effort but will be worth it.

I am more concerned about scratching the screen than the logo. This is a mobile device, it is going to get scratches and end up with imperfections in its appearance. It's like the first time that you drop your cell phone, you have to get over it.

Yeah, I was just having a few hours of weirdness :)

I'm not putting a screen protector or anything on the apple logo, it's slightly depressed lower than the aluminum backing, so the result would just be an ugly, bubbly mess. I'm not keeping it in a freaking museum anyways ;)

Say it's lying on the couch and I pick it up. The one thing I can't stand is aiming to grab it by the back and put my hand under it to pick it up. My OCD doesn't like how easy the screen gets full of fingerprints. I know it's a touchscreen device and it's supposed to get used, but I'm just crazy. I'm just looking forward to my PS AG protector in the next 2-3 business days to aleviate some tension.

And no, I'm not going to go see a therapist for my issues

Although I have a case for mine, it's annoying to have to put it in there every time I set it down for a few minutes. I just make sure to set it down on something soft like the couch or bed. I also have a microfiber cloth that I always have with the iPad that works as well.
