Universal What is going on with the Firefox app?

First they got rid of favorites

Now even the dark mode is broken, it’s not working properly

Did they hire monkeys to update the iOS app? Things were working fine a few months ago, now this app has gone downhill big time.

What problem are you seeing? Dark mode is working fine on my 2 iPads.

No, dark mode is not working. When I open a website it’s turned off even though I leave it turn on all the time. To fix this issue I have to then turn off and turn on, so the website will after that appear to have a dark background.

Here’s proof, dark mode enabled and I visit for example CNN

Now look at the proof dark mode is already enabled

The last image is how CNN should have appeared to me when I visited for the first time.

Is that clear now? It wasn’t like that before. They messed with this feature just like they did by hiding favorites.

And this dark mode issue also happens with iOS 13.

I am using iOS 12.3.1 and the iPad Pro 10.5.

I see what you're saying now - it is hosed. I had pretty much quit using Firefox as I prefer the bookmarks bar visible in Safari.
