I've been using iTunes on windows for about 20 years now. It's how I get music and audiobooks onto my iphone. I don't use any streaming service regularly.

It looks like they've decided the apple music will be used to listen to music on my PC, apple devices will be used to transfer music to my phone, and itunes will be used to transfer audiobooks to my phone.

When I open itunes, my phone won't show up. I've tried a bunch of stuff but it won't work. Not sure how else to get my audiobooks moved.

In apple devices I see how to transfer music but it's an incredibly poor design. If you go by artist you can only add all their music. If you go by album it just lists thousands of album titles with no artists and no artwork.

I must be missing something right? Have they really decided this is the best way to do things? Someone recommended a different audiobook app and moving files with Dropbox so I look into that. Not sure about music yet.
