just ordered a loaded mac mini (not server) for work and plan to hook up both of my 23" monitors to it for my detailing / estimating work.

what connections will I need to hook them both up? I know it has HDMI and Thunderbolt hookups but i am curious as to what, if any adapters come with the mini itself.

This might be somewhat of an afterthought as I purchased a Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter with the mini, in hopes that it will hook into the thunderbolt hookup.

How do I hook up a monitor to the HDMI output? do they make HDMI -> VGA / DVI adapters?

thanks in advance. i am just trying to have everything purchased and ready to go so that when the mini arrives, i can hook everything up and go.

HDMI to DVI is probably want you want for that output. Just get a cable that has these ends instead of a standard HDMI cable.

I'm not sure what they come with today, but sounds like you already ordered the adapter you need for the other output.

excellent.

actually just found out my answer by reading, imagine that....

according to apples website, it comes with n HDMI to DVI adapter, so i'll be good to go.

thanks!
