Is the next generation xeon that is in the Mac Pro Cylinder a Ivy Bridge or Haswell?

I would guess it's Ivy Bridge-EP, it's due for release in Q3 afaik.

Yes. 12-core 24 Thread 22nm 30MB cache single CPU. DDR3 support of 1866MHz. Clocks look low but turbo bins should be incredible.
