What is SoundFlower Extension? Is it installed by Apple?

Is SoundFlower kext file from Apple? I see it I'm my extensions and don't know where it comes from and suspect it may be causing crashes?

It's a handy third-party extension which allows you to record audio out of any app, you can go ahead and delete it if you have no use for it.

Yes. SoundFlower would let CAPTO capture audio with video.

Parallels Access also uses SoundFlower (or they did? Now they have a "Parallels Access Sound" device in the Sound preferences panel).
