What is the $40 difference for?

This is with the student discount and one is the default 2.93 and 3.06 with the same specs. Is there any difference between them besides saving money?

No they shouldn't. If they do, take a screen shot and call to Apple and complain. Other people have noticed that glitch too

A very pleasant glitch in our favor, basically a larger discount since it gets applied to the discounts individually to each componant, rather then to the whole machine.

For me, it resulted in a $5 upgrade to the ATI card
