Currently Apple Canada is offering $75 gift card discount with the purchase of an iPhone 12/12 mini

I'm considering to trade in my iPhone 11 Pro, however, with the iPhone 13 a mere 3 months away, it may be wise to wait.
(I'm going to assume the 13 will be price the same as the current 12)

Apple is offering $565 for my phone.
How much do you think my iPhone 11 Pro will depreciate in 3 months?

If you are talking Apple trade-in value, you could see the depreciation take a big hit during the time of release. No way to know for sure but, if my memory is accurate, that has generally been the case every release.

I wish I had numbers for from previous years (i.e. iPhone XS to 11) to see the annual depreciation, although it might not be linear. But it would give me a sense of how much of a hit.

Edit: I found some trade-in values that work out to approx 10% drop year over year.

Look at what Apple is offering for the XS. That's probably about what you'll get for your 11 Pro when the 13 comes out.
