Why does wiping it with a wet cloth or cleaning fluid stain it? Does it corrode it?

Tap water contains minerals and it will leave a stain after you use it. If you buy distilled water from grocery store and use that, it shouldnt stain.

What about screen cleaning fluid? Is there no way of removing the stain?

the stain should come off and get some screen cleaning stufff.
never use water on the front screen just use mirco fiber cloth and screen cleaning it comes with a cloth

Used screen cleaning on back, that stained it too after wiping with dry cloth. Don't know if it will go if I leave it for a while, does it just take a while to dry?

Post a pic. I use iklear to clean my idevices and Alu MacBook.

They don't rub off. If I try wiping it with a damp cloth or using screen cleaning fluid again, it just moves the stains. I just want to know if it will dry off over time or if I need to do something to remove the stains.
