What is a better compliment to the Netflix app? Mobitv or Hulu Plus? i like Mobitv live streaming especially ESPN and Hulu Plus have all the networks, but Comedy Central is no longer in Hulu but it is in Mobitv. Which subscription is better to compliment Netflix?

depends on what u want to watch if ur into more live events like sports and news the mobitv is good. It also has some on demand shows not bad. But if u just want to watch last nights simpsons then hulu plus is the way to go.

mobitv lags on 3g, but when it's on wifi it's so clear and no lag at all.

Slingbox. You pay once and that's it. Been using for 3 years and it has already paid for itself compared to monthly subscriptions.

I agree, right now a slingbox setup is less than $200. The slingbox solo is $165 no tax and free shipping at Amazon, and the app is $30.

Hulu plus really sucks, and mobi.tv is very limited. With slingbox it's a video passthrough so you can control your at home came box.

On the downside, you can't sling and have someone watching the tv at the same time.

On the upside you can hook the slingbox to your DVR. You can watch live TV and you can also access your DVR content. If you have On Demand, you can also watch on demand shows. Between the on demand, your DVR content, and EVERY channel of real live TV the slingbox is by far and away the most robust solution. If you want TV now, and you think you might want it 2 years from now it's a no brainer.

Also, slingboxes are very expensive on the secondary market. A year or two from now, your $165 slingbox is probably worth over $100 if they hold their value. It's very hard to find one used, and you cannot find a used one for less than $100. I checked craigslist and ebay.

Not to mention you can watch your tv on your computer, or any internet computer. Don't get the HD version, not worth the money.

I actually have both Netflix and Hulu Plus and am quite happy with both

Netflix library has tons that I am interested in both movie wise and tv wise

hulu has a goos amount of current shows that I like. Now, I won't be using hulu for that much longer as I will give up on it once I see all the tv shows that I want to see. But, at the moment I like hulu and am impressed with me being able to use it on my iPhone and iPad on 3G
