Hi All

My poor Imac hard Drive is about to go pop.:(

What does every one think the best hard drive on the market is that will work with my Imac.

I have a 20" Imac with a 2GHz Processor which is a Intel 2 Duo Core with 4Gb 667 Mhz DDR2 Sdram, 250Gb HD.

I was looking at the Western Digital Caviar Green 1.5TB SATA 32MB Cache Hard Drive.

Any help would be great.

Thanks in Advance

Western Digital and Seagate are popular here. Caviar Green isn't the fastest one but it's quiet and doesn't consume much power

Anything that is 7200rpm and has a lot of on-board cache. I'm still using a 640gb drive in my iMac, and it's split into three partitions as well (Windows, Macintosh HD, and Backup HD).

BUT, I do have a 1TB, 250GB, 100GB, and 40GB external backup array.
