I have seen alot of torrents that claim to be .mp4 h.264 on later to find that for some reason they did not sync with my apple tv for some reason for format issues. I found one person that consistantly has good quality mp4's. I tried podtropolis for awhile but they are not TV formated videos. Any Ideas? I have bought 90% of my movies... Itunes does not offer everything especially sporting events.

I suggest downloading the torrent in any format then just convert it for Apple TV.
I heard that iSquint is a good program for it.
Does the Apple TV use the same format as iPod/iPhone?
If it does, which I think it does, then I suggest using Jodix iPod Video Converter.

Most video is offered in the High-Complexity profile. Apple TV, iPods, and iTunes require the Low-Complexity profile. There is a bit of a difference in quality, but not too much. Just throw a High-Complexity profile video into a video converter to get it to Low-Complexity (sometimes specified as the iPod or iPhone setting)

I forgot to mention that with that video converter I told you about you can change the quatlity depending on the space you want it to take up.
