Hi, got a 5th generation M1 iPad Pro 12.9". What is the best way to get an accurate capacity of it besides going to an Apple store?

I followed a site to get the log but it is not available on my iPad. Is there an site with more correct information?
Also, for Coconut battery, isn't it just provide a frustrated estimate?

I followed this guide a couple of weeks ago and it worked for my M1 12.9 Pro:

Thanks. In step 2, why I need to wait for a day or two when the data has been recorded? When I clicked on Share iPad Analytics, the top three files start with "analyticsd.diskwrites_resoiurce-2024". There is no "Analystics-year-month-day-time.ips.ca.synced" yet.

You may need to give it a day or so for the file to appear I think. It's really a pain!

It typically appears when my iPad syncs overnight, I believe.

iMazing is a macOS utility app that is designed to work with iPhones and iPads via USB cable or WiFi. Whlle it does a myriad of tasks, it will display battery health quickly.

Both MaximumCapacityPercent and the calculation indicated 86%. Does that mean I will need to replace the battery soon?

No, not necessarily. Depends on how you use your iPad. My iPad mini (5th Gen) has 81% battery health and still lasts most of the day.

Use Coconut Battery on a Mac. Attach your iPad and open iOS device section on the Coconut Battery app. It shows battery health and cycle count.

Coconut Battery on macOS and 3uTools on Windows. Both will tell you battery health and Charge Cycles. Both are free tools.
