Hi, I tried to convert my CV from Pages to Words in the past. As far as I recall, I saved or exported the document to Words format inside Pages and then opened the converted documents in Words. However, the contents especially tabulations got all messed up. What is the best way to do the conversion with 100% success?

100% success? No. The more complex the Pages document is, the harder it is to convert to Word format. If you need to exchange documents with other Word users or need it for school or work, then it's best to use Word and not Pages.
I use both Pages and the latest Office 365 version of Word. I like Pages but there are times when Word works best.

I probably won’t buy another mbp until Apple has changed the butterfly keyboard. I am moving files to my windows pc gradually. Right zi onlyneed to convert my files from pages to word.

Pages is cute, easy to use, but far from perfect. It’s not powerful enough and lacks many basic features. Even Word 5.0 from 20 years ago was more powerful
