What is the fastest internal storage for MacBook Pro 17" 2010?

Hi, I replaced the internal HD with a Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SSD years ago. It is almost full. For this older machine, are there faster internal options besides getting a 860 or 870 EVO SATA 2.5" Internal SSD?

No. The 2010 models of MBP's are SATA 2, 3 Gb/s systems. SATA 3, 6 Gb/s didn't arrive until 2011. Make sure the SSD you buy is SATA 2 compatible.

No, your Mac is SATA 3 based which means maximum speed of 6Gb/s.

The 2010 Macbook Pros are SATA 2, 3Gb/s. I've upgraded a 17 inch for a friend.
