Title says it all really… you know how Apple stores sometimes stock super high spec’d MacBook Pros?… do they do the same for super high spec Studios?
I agree. That's where I bought my Mac Studio Max, 64GB memory, 4TB SSD.B&H is by far the best for finding high spec machines. Also comes with free next day shipping as well. Numerous configurations including 128gb Ultra configs in stock now.
Around here there is nothing in stock, higher end stuff would be shipped late January. As others mentioned, B&H often stocks Studios, thats where I purchased mine a few months ago. A didn't want to wait the two months Apple was projecting. Had my finger on a Max, but it was sold before I pressed the buy button. I have found that I didn't need the extra horsepower for my use case anyway.Title says it all really… you know how Apple stores sometimes stock super high spec’d MacBook Pros?… do they do the same for super high spec Studios?
Well I work in NH so at least I have an excuse. Didn't buy a Mac Studio though. My local store only has base Max models. That's because people from neighboring states come to mine to buy up all of the Ultra models so that they don't have to pay sales taxes. The stores in that state have the base Ultra models. I do wish that they stocked other configurations. I'm rather surprised that the Studio sells well enough to stock them in their stores.

It looks like they do exchanges. One thing to be aware of when buying a computer from B&H:
You cannot return it, once it's been opened.
That's their policy, like it or not.
If there's a problem, you have to "take it up with Apple"...
Having said that, a friend bought an iMac a few years ago, properly equipped, with no problems.
Good purchase.
AFAIK.. The only Mac Studio Ultra you'll find in retail:
YMMV
