What is the iPad 3g supply situation like in German stores?

I am heading to Germany on a business trip soon and am thinking about taking advantage of the cheap euro to pick up an iPad 3g(the ones sold in the country I am currently residing in are all locked AND require a contract :()

Do German retail stores have any in stock? Whats the odds of me getting one if I go to a store next Friday?
