What the heck you needing that much space for? Just kiddin. I'm down to 10.08 GB left on my 3 week old MBP. The 160 GB drive isn't enough. As soon as I get my refund for the iPod I also got, I'm buying a 500 GB external drive.

As far as your original question, I think you are right.

Running out of room for Jon Stewart Daily Show... you know in 1 year of downloading it that would eat up tons of space along with the Colbert Report.

Is 250 GB SATA the largest notebook drive possible? I need like 350-400 GB soon...

Currently 250GB is the largest. Depends on what "soon" means. 300GB should be available this fall, but it'll be a while after for larger. (Fujitsu announced a 300GB recently).

Does your trash can not work? Kidding. How about burning a few to DVD and then trying out the trash can? I need to remove some of this captured video and stuff. I may also delete my entire iTunes library and just use my iPod from there. Technology sucks. I NEED MORE SPACE!

The Fujitsu MHX2300BT is supposedly the largest 2.5" drive at 300 GB, although I haven't seen it in retail channels yet. 250GB is available from at least two vendors, with the Western Digital 250GB Scorpio drive as the first one that started shipping.
