I was surfing around for apps last night and happened upon one called, "Rat Trap". It is difficult to understand exactly what it is or what it does. The price had just been lowered from $4.99 to .99c so my interest was peaked.

The reviews though are horrific! The single stars rate at about 150 submitters, while the five stars and such are about a third of that.

Most apps, even the somewhat poor ones average three stars at the end of the day, but not Rat Trap! It's has an average two star rating.

It was almost enough to make me download it to see really how terrible it is. Almost.

What apps have you come upon that are so bad that about as soon as you downloaded it you quickly dismissed it with a quick delete? (For the purposes of this thread, the more expensive and embarrassing, the better!)

No idea. But last I saw, 'Mobile Chat' had 2 stars. Which was definitely 2 stars too many.
On the subject of Mobile Chat.. Have Apple finally seen sense and pulled it from the store? Can't see it now..

Certainly there are some interesting apps out there.

Is there one that you like yet others kind of don't? For example, I enjoy Bookworm yet there are one star ratings from people for complaints I don't understand (like, the music. Don't like the music? The app allows you to turn it off!).

Others receive mega high ratings I find puzzling- and not all of the five stars are coming from the developer's friends and co-workers!
