What is the name of the computing law that says that for every increase in computing power there will be a complimentary increase in resource requirements of new and upgraded applications to fill that increased capability? I know that I have heard of it somewhere.

Don't know if it has a name. I'd call it Gates' Law. "What Andy (Grove) giveth, Bill taketh away."
