There was a tweak in cydia, that would convert a safari homescreen web page into an app, which would run on it's own and not in Safari...Does anyone know the name of this tweak? I have searched all over google for it. Thanks.

You're not talking about webapps are you? Or you talking about something completely different.
I'm not sure what webapps is but the tweak I am referring to allows you to make a homescreen bookmark, and allow you to open that homescreen bookmark as if it were it's own app...Safari is never opened when you open that bookmark.
That has nothing to do with jailbreaking. That works on any iOS device, as long as the web page in question has a tiny meta tag that enables it.
You might be referring to the fact you can manually enable it for the pages that don't have it if your device is jailbroken. Get iFile, browse to var/mobile/library/WebClips. Randomly go through the folders until you find the one for the homescreen bookmark you want to change (you can open the image file in the folders to see the icon, check the date added, or check the text file to see which folder is for which bookmark). Manually edit the file to set fullscreen to true, and save it. Might need to respring, but that should do it and open the app fullscreen.
I will check that out. I could have sworn this was a tweak that automatically did this for me but I might be mistaken. Thanks
Nothing could be much easier than saving a bookmark as a home screen icon.
The native Apple method is simple and uncomplicated.
I don't want the native Apple method...It opens up a new safari tab everytime I open a bookmark on the home screen...I want it to be a separate application...If I wanted to save the bookmark the native way I wouldn't be here now would I?
Wow, someone didn't take their meds this morning.
Defending myself = "didn't take their meds this morning"?
What exactly are you "defending" yourself from? All people said was adding a homescreen icon from a website is built into iOS. You're the one responding like a 4 year old and throwing a fit.
