Okay so i own an imac. the specs of it are a 3.06 ghz intel core 2 duo processor, 500gb, 2gb of ram and an nvidia geforce 8800 gs graphics card with 512mb of video ram. Okay so like most people have asked this before, what is it? The GS only has 384mb of video ram, and this has 512mb of video ram. What is this graphics cards real name and what are the specs of it?

Have you taken a look at System Profiler > Graphics / Displays and seen what was listed there and then looked for it via MRoogle's little sister Bing, ahem, Google?

What about a really descriptive thread title?
To edit your thread title, just click on the

Have you also taken a look at MRoogle, since that question may have been asked several times? [/COLOR]

Yeah, I have but nothing really useful came up. There were many different answers, and i was looking to get the right answer.

It's a GeForce 8800M GTS (that's the name you'll find in a PC benchmark). I don't recall whether it's underclocked or not, but I think it's normal clocked. The 8800 GS is a made-up name to cover for the fact that it's a card designed for laptops. Mind you, it's no slouch of a laptop card, and is (or at least was) generally considered a gaming-class laptop card.
