What is the oldest iOS version you can sync with?

I don’t own any old devices anymore, was just curious if you could sync with a really old iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch still.

iOS 8.4 stopped allowing me to sign in to icloud early last year so that's out for sure. iOS9 worked fine at the time. A lot updated icloud features like shared tabs dont work iOS11 for a while now.
