I have owned an iPhone since 2008 and for the life of me I have never been able to understand what order the app updates are listed in.

I usually wait until I have a large list of updates and then click on "Update All" to update them all at once. But I like to read the release notes on each update first. The problem is that I may read some and then not update. And then I come back later to read the rest and I notice another couple of apps are added to the update list but it seems they are just randomly mixed in so I can't tell what exactly was added.

Is there any particular order at all or is it really just random?
