I want to use my G3 Bondi Blue 1998 as a CRT monitor, I found diagrams on the internet that only show how to connect a traditional vga monitor to an old mac, but I can't find anything about old monitors being used as vga.

My country doesn't have adapters that do this for sale, and I can't import one, so I need to know the pinout of the apple DB15 monitor (the one used in the 90's), I made a cable connecting the green, blue, red, v-sync and h-sync and everything else on ground, but the monitor glows orange. The laptop I plugged in can "see" that a monitor is connected, but it can't "wake up" the monitor. Does the mac monitor use vga pin 9 5v to wake up?

This is the pinout to connect a VGA monitor to a macintosh, it doesn't work for me (already tried), I'm looking for a diagram to use a macintosh monitor on a common vga video card
