I may have missed something here, but I'm struggling to understand Apple TV on Catalina.
From what I gather, many of the Movies/TV features from iTunes are present (i.e. purchasing, viewing, the library), but beyond these, how does the app relate to the iOS version?
For instance, on my iPhone I have catch-up apps such as BBC iPlayer and ITV hub linked, and Amazon Prime, so content from those services are at least directed to the Apple TV app.
But on Catalina those apps aren't present, and the functionality of such isn't synced. So my library looks entirely different across the two devices.
Also, the Mac app doesn't provide information about where you're purchasing/viewing the content from. It's just literally dumped in front of the screen in a large obnoxious image.
Do you think Apple is expecting the like of Amazon, Netflix to port their iOS apps to Catalina, so they can be linked?
