What is the proper method to make audio dvd's that will play on cd players?

I have decided to try my hand at making some Audio DVD's and CD's. But, I find that iTunes does everything short of telling me not to copy music. But, I recall earlier versions of iTunes that had a burn button at the bottom right of the main panel that was designed to "Burn CD." Maybe I am missing something... but, I find no instructions on how to copy and Burn Music DVD's and or CD's. Understandably, Apple wants us to buy from the store and I have purchased my fair share, over 300 songs in 10 months... but, this would be for me to use on my CD/DVD player downstairs on the Multi-Channel Sound System. What Next?

Thanks for the tip, I will have to give it a try. It just sounds too easy especially when it can play in a computer or a car player or even in a living room CD/DVD Music player. Hmmmm...
