So I have been doing my research on the iPad, and I found something interesting. What is the button on the lock screen, to be more specific the button to the right of the lock slider. Thanks

That button enables Flash if you want to trade battery life for Hulu.

Be cool I'd they add some more functions like a full screen clock ect.

Cracks me up that people will spend the time watching the iPad ad, capture frames from it, post it online and ask questions, but won't read the posted once-a-day thread answering their question.

It'd be cool if Apple would let people add notifications on the lock screen. Like upcoming calendar events, emails, text messages, etc. It makes more sense on the iPad's screen since it's so big and it's empty, just showing the wallpaper. Adding notifications would make use of the extra screen real estate.

That would be nice, right now the lock screen is full of nothing and IMO it looks pretty bad... It's tolerable on the iPod Touch but on a screen that big, I don't think I would like it much.

No kidding:

Well, if you were doing your research on the iPad, then why don't you just push the button to find out?

Seriously though, would it perhaps be possible for you to research harder? It was in Steve's keynote for crying out loud.

Edit - Added some images from the iPad SDK. The button also lights up blue when it is turned on (and glows when pressed), but I don't see where those images are located. The images I attached are the background image, and the icon for landscape and portrait formats, along with a screenshot from the simulator of the pressed icon:
