had it for ages in UK.
meant make it easier to buy stuff without having to join hundreds of selling pages.
only flaw is items on show on market if seller posts to market as well as selected pages.
If seller not post to market, then it will not show up.
I use facebook to sell stuff for father in law so got to know the system a bit.

That catches a lot of people off-guard. They post an item for sale in a 'local' group and FB offers to list it to the market as well. Without fully knowing what this entails, people just figure their item will reach more potential buyers. Then they start getting sh*t offers from thousands of miles away, other countries, offers to overpay by thousands of dollars if they'll take a check and cash it and keep 10x their asking price if they wire the remainder back....
maybe but when I use the market it only shows items in cornwall UK, which is where I live.

I have the marketplace and video tabs gone on my jailbroken phone. The stories at the top are also gone. I hate all this stuff that Facebook thinks people want.
