What is that user interface element in the upper left corner, the white circle with the gray rim, used for? I can drag it, but I am not sure, what it is or does.

To be fair, I am using CarPlay with a Carlinkit dongle in conjunction with the autokit.apk app installed on my 2016 Honda Pilot, which does not come equipped with CarPlay. Nor can it be updated with a firmware update, as some other Honda factory radios could be.

EDIT:

I apologise i didnt fully understand your question. I think that button is to exit carplay and return to your devices normal software.

I have a third-party Carplay screen in my truck, and the white circle is used to get back to the main interface of the screen (DVR application, settings, etc.). It's not a Carplay element.
