I’ve searched online and can’t seem to figure out what this green pulsing indicator is at the top of my Watch. Zooming in on it looks like a soccer (football) pitch but not sure what app it belongs to. I’m not sure but it seems to have shown up after the most recent update to WatchOS 11. Any idea what it could be?

Well that would appear to explain it. Odd that I can’t interact with it at all though.

Thank you!

Odd that you can’t tap it. When I get equivalent icons there, for example music or timers, you can only tap on them when they show - they might be alternating between something else like the little red notification indicator perhaps?

Its part of the new live activities now available on the latest watch software. Whilst this icon was showing on your watch did you have a live activity on your phone for Apple Sports?

If that icon is showing and you use the digital crown to scroll up while you are viewing the normal watch face you will see the same live activity thats on your phone is now available on your watch before you get to the various widgets that are set up on your watch.

I use FotMob for football scores in the UK and i get the FotMob icon on my watch when live activities for teams i follow are showing so you can view on both your phone and your watch.

If there is a goal my watch will vibrate and if i lift my wrist it automatically goes to the live activity rather than the watch face but i think this is part of the setup so can be changed.

Bit more info about settings etc on this link :-

This is insanely helpful! It would also show the live activity and I didn’t know why that was now happening either.

I did set up my favorite teams at some point in Apple Sports on my phone but was not making the correlation that that is what was causing the behavior on my Watch.

And I still think it’s strange that tapping on the pulsating indicator does nothing.

Thank you!
