I was 100% at 7:30 this morning. Four hours later I’m at 18. I have not been using my phone much at all this morning.

Background app refresh is off. Why the heck are widgets using 81% of my battery and how can I fix it?

I’d reach out to Apples tech support team for an answer. They’re usually better than guesstimates on the web.

Are you reviewing your last 24 hours or 10 days?

I thought it was just for today, but I’m not positive. I guess I can call Apple in the morning. We JUST got to the beach for our vacation, so that’ll be a fun way to kick off the week.

Seems like we can’t catch a break with devices right now. I’m having this issue, can’t download a video on my granddaughter’s iPad 6th gen. It’s been bought and has the little cloud, but will NOT download - won’t even click (and she has plenty of room).

And then I can’t move a game icon/shortcut into my grandson’s dock on his iPad mini 5th gen.

It’s like Twilight Zone around here.

You are very lucky to be at the beach on vacation!! Lock up the darling grandkids electronic devices and show them how to have a proper pre-electronic time wasters holiday. Walk, explore, read, talk etc. You are doing them no favours with your generous purchases

this is interesting, I have lots of widgets and have never seen them listed separately from their full-on apps

Thank you, but I get that. My daughter was trying to put a movie on her daughter’s iPad for the ride home, and I was just trying to organize her son’s apps. The kids were asleep after a long evening playing on the beach.

Do you have a ton of widgets on the widget screen (left of the first Home Screen?) and if so, do you use them? Maybe they just need removed?
