For people who may have sold their used ram kits, ebay, etc?

I had a 2.8ghz UMBP (late '08) and I upgraded it to a 8gb ram kit, but I pulled out the RAM before picked up my i7 until I realized that my 8gb kit wouldn't work for my new laptop.

Thanks!

Go to eBay, and search the ram brand and specs, Scroll down and on the left hand side, select "completed listings." It will show you how much they are selling for.

I did but there were next to no results in completed. I kinda expected more than maybe 1-2 that didn't sell.

Its not like searching iphones w/ hundreds of pages. haha.

None of my friends have the same MBP that they'd work for them.

Sounds good, thanks!

According from the package-

Crucial - 2 - 4GB 204 - PIN SODIMM 512Mx64 DDR3 PC3 - 8500 CL7.

I also wish they worked on my old mac mini. :p

fairly similar to yours. Just market it well with original packaging and you should be able to get $30-40.

Try posting them at MarkertPlace forum with prefix "Feeler" , they will let you know how much you should expect to get. You can also post them for sale there, save on ridiculous eBay fees (9%).

I completely agree w/ ebay's fees, geez. I should have thought about the marketplace. I'll make a post in there. 30-40 is pretty reasonable and even considering that the Auction was showing 2 different brands together. I guess at least mine are matched kit.

:)
