several times I could not get my mini (bought new in Nov) to boot up.
Just a minute ago it showed the gray screen then the apple loading. Then a bright blue screen. Nothing happening, so unplugged the mac and plugged back in.
What is happening ? a pain in the ......

How long did you wait? The blue screen is a normal part of the boot process. You need to give it time to complete.
 
Never took so long

first time I can specifically remember the blue screen justing sitting there....
Not sure at least a minute or so. Sure I should have just walked out to the kitchen etc and gave it more time.
Had not taken so long before. Just saying
