iOS9.3.2 iPad Air & 17,1 iMac OS X 10.11.5 & iTUnes12.4.1.6
I can go to the other side of the house, using WIFI and HomeShare any movie I have on my iMac w my iPad Air, at anytime I chose. But I must be within 2 feet of the iMac to HomeShare iTunes 12 library music w my iPad Air. If I am not next to the iMac, homesharing never connects for music.
Again, I can home share any movie ANYTIME ANYWHERE in my home, between my iMac and my iPad Air using wifi.
I have signed out and into of homesharing on both devices.
I have signed out and into of iCloud on both devices.
I have signed out and into of iTunes and Apple store on both devices.
I have rebooted both devices.
I have reinstalled OS X from the internet.
I have wiped to new device on the iPad Air.
The ONLY way to homeshare my iTunes music library with my iPad Air is to be one foot away from the iMac using wifi.
Again, I can home share any movie ANYTIME ANYWHERE in my home, between my iMac and my iPad Air using wifi.
What is wrong w iTunes12 homesharing my music library over wifi?
