My iMessage app always opens when my computer starts up.

I have no idea how to fix this.

No, the box asking to reopen apps at startup isn't checked and Imessage is not in my startup items in my settings.

any geeks here might know a fix to this?

I believe I have the answer to your question. It's possible you have iMessage in the list of apps for start up at login.

To find out if you do:

System Preferences -> Users & Groups in the system row -> Click on login items tab -> Find out what apps you have starting up every time you log in.
