What is your bootcamp winXP startup time?

Just out of curiosity, can people tell what their startup times runing winXP bootcamp are? (I ask because mine seems slow, but no troubleshooting has helped)

From I press "WinXP" in the bootcamp menu untill I am at my winXP desktop and the little hour-glas icon next to the mouse-cursor is gone it takes:

1 min 15 sec !!!

what is your startup-time??


I am on a MPB C2DUO 2,33 Ghz, 2GigRam, 160 HDD

anyone? Just wanna know if this boot-time is normal (although slow) - dont wanna repartition and reinstall winxp, if this is normal...

I tried just for the sake of it, and get:

40s first time
32s second
43 last one

But is a really empty installation, with only Visual Studio and nothing else

All test were taken on a MB C2D 2Ghz/1Gb ram

windows xp is faster than my already sold regular pc, but still is slow compared to the fast boot time of Mac for sure!
