Hello everyone,

1. First off, this machine is amazing. And the battery life for my work, illustrator, surfing, music, emails, and Google apps would last 2 days. What is your default resolution for the m3 pro 14-inch? Do you use the default 1512 x 982 resolution or something higher? My old 2017 15-inch resolution looked better (aside from the additional 1-inch screen size).

2. I have a 3440 x 1440 Ultrawide monitor that I plan to use as an external monitor, what's the best cable to use so I can fully utilize Pro Motion, my monitor can display 180hz. HDMI or USB-C (Thurnderbolt) ?

3. I have an existing PC that uses a Glorious mouse and keyboard, and I'm planning to use both mbp and pc with one external monitor. Do you recommend this? Or get a separate keyboard and mouse for mac? If it's a hassle I can use my mbp for home and work use and just put my pc on storage till I upgrade to a new one.

1. I personally typically use the default, but will from time to time go higher than that if there's something that I really need the screen space for (though it's straining for my eyes with text that small).

2. It depends on what input your monitor requires for higher refresh rates. Does it require HDMI to go that high or will it go that high off USB-C?

3. You may be able to find a quality KVM switch that will let you swap your keyboard and mouse and still keep your high refresh rates on your display, but might take some investigation to find the right ones. I'm not certain how many of them will support those high refresh rates, though I'm sure some can. Some monitors, especially Dell, include KVM features on some of their displays, so check your monitor's user guide as well.
