My favorite is the Apple Watch. It gives me the opportunity to keep as connected (or not) as I need to be for calls, texts, weather, health, news, and other minor nuances, without having to pull my phone out of my pocket or have it with me all the time. I also like the I can communicate and still be hands free to do other tasks.

Another vote for Apple watch. It's a constant companion - sleep, workouts, music control, notifications, unlocking the mac and (coming soon) unlocking the iPhone when wearing a mask. I haven't upgraded for few years because I am waiting for one that will have 3-4 day battery life

My mid 2012 15in MBP. It almost 10 years old and still running fine. I will probably spring for 15 MBP with apple silicon later this year but this laptop is amazing for reliability. I have never had a problem. It needs a new battery but that is understandable.
I agree 100%

I have a Mid 2012 too - fantastic machine - best Apple product I have ever owned for sure - still working with original battery - probably due for a new one (like yours) - was great to be able to upgrade the Memory and the SSD - Swapped it out several times - takes 10 mins. Great Keyboard Too

Also have a mid 2015 - and it is great as well - but the battery was swollen after 5 years and had to be replaced - have the 2015 running Big Sur and the 2012 working on Mojave

Just to stir it up - I'll go a different route - I liked a couple of the "cat" operating systems and iTunes from years ago when it was still "Apple thoughtful" to use. For the original questions - any of the hardware that made it easy to swap parts to home upgrade (Early Mac Pro cheese grater, 2012 Mac Mini etc.)

My favorite was the the G4 iMac (the lampshade). It was the perfect combination of form and function. The most ergonomic computer I have ever used once I replaced the keyboard/mouse. Awful mouse.

I really like the 11” iPad Pro. It’s large enough to be really immersive, but being able to hold it all in your hands while the devices weighs only 1lb is a great experience.

Another favorite - The Cube - it was "very cool" at the time and I remember installing OSX on it 10.0 - still have the CD lol - there was no software that would run on the new OSX at the time and had to wait until Microsoft released Office for OSX before many of the other vendors got on board - so used OS9 for almost 1 year.

The Cube came with Harman Kardon Soundsticks which were also great

Definitely my 5K iMac. It's a 2014 and rather long in the tooth -- but even so, I am happy every time I sit down in front of this huge, gorgeous screen.

I want very much to update it, but spending $2K on a new Intel one feels like a bad idea at this point. If I got an amazing deal, though, I might be tempted as a stopgap until the Apple Silicon ones come out.

Mine would have to be a tie between the Homepod and the Apple Watch.

The Homepod sounds wonderful, is aesthetically pleasing, and is super convenient for listening to music around my house.

The Apple Watch is great at keeping me aligned with my exercising as well as keeping me conscience of my overall health. It also serves quite well as a regular watch, a timer, and a notifier for reminders.

The iPod Nano 7 and AirPods combination that I use everyday has been my favorite Apple "setup" for the last few years. It's so small and light that I always have it with me. I only wish the Nano had support for some sort of audiobook app such as Libby or Hoopla so that I could get a larger selection of audiobooks.

iPhone 4 and MacBook Air 2010/2011. Those devices were so ahead of it's time that's mind blowing to me. The level of care and detail in both hardware and software is something I have yet to experience again. Today it doesn't really matter if you buy a MacBook or something from Microsoft. All brand copies Apple and they all are very high quality and almost the same with very similar price. It comes to your prefence about the software and how it looks/works for you. In the Steve Jobs era Apple was really unique. Almost like an UFO.

Definitely my MBP. It’s a mid 2015, but when I do replace it, I’m confident the new one will be my favorite Apple device as well. I love my iPhone and can’t live without it, but macOS just feels right.

Out of everything, probably my aluminum USB keyboard with numpad. Only caveat is the USB ports won't get enough power if the keyboard is plugged into anything other than a Mac.

Probably my 2020 16" MBP. I have everything else people have mentioned including the Apple Watch and the iPad Pro but my MBP besides the watch is the only thing I use everyday and really enjoy. I just use it for internet stuff and the screen quality is just amazing.

At one time if I was asked this question it might have been the iPod and even the iPhone but these days, the iPhone isn't even that special, just something I use every day.

My favourite apple device my iMac even though not most used Apple device. I use iPhone and iPad way more. I just love macs. They just so nice to use and so smooth and problem free.

BUT if you ask me which Apple device I can’t give up will be iPhone because I NEED iPhone outside house and won’t feel secure without it. Maps so I don’t get lost new places, text someone if problem since I am Deaf and cannot use public pay phone, notes app to type message to show someone like customer support or staff at shop or food place etc.

My retained favorite so far :

G4 MDD (The only G4 can hold 4 drives and fastest)
PM G5 (Except the LCS version)
iPod Nano 3rd Gen (can playback videos at that times)
iPod Nano 6th Gen (small and mimic watch)
cMP 5,1 (versatility)
cMP 7,1 (versatility and bunch of TB3)

There are many good products. I have a sweet spot for the Mac platform in general. However, the best product would be the AirPods, I suppose. There are other good smartphones, laptops, desktops, and tablets sold by other companies. But the AirPods are something else: they fit my ears and never fall, and they respond perfectly to touch. Works like magic. I have not found another wireless earbud that is so good and convenient.

If I recall correctly the original Apple Battery Charger was a phenomenal value as well.

While the batteries were visibly Apple branded, apparently they were top-rated Sanyo Eneloops rebranded for Apple. The charger itself had one of the lowest "vampire power" draws of all chargers of that era. I still have this charger although I've mostly moved onto Panasonic Eneloops (they took over the battery business from Sanyo).

Note that the Eneloops now come in two versions (original white and Pro black). The latter (more expensive) can handle more demanding applications but also have fewer recharge cycles.

The ipads (in general) are my favourite, along with the Apple Pencil. It allows me to keep notes, work on graphic designs, draw in my spare time and do so much more. Its just so versatile.
