I got one of the original batches of iPads made, so mine has been in use for over five months. Today I happened to be working from home using a work laptop, but I kept my iPad at my side to check for email and to take breaks with. I took many breaks . . .
Anyway, I noticed that it's been on and in almost continual use for 10 hours and I still have 4% battery life. That's with it on the entire time (not ever in sleep mode). I checked email, web surfed, watched little videos, played games. I used this thing all day long, and I'm getting more than 10 hours of continual battery life with brightness set to 65%. With a 5-month old battery. And I read books on it every evening, so it really does get used every single day of those five months.
Is this typical? How's your iPad battery after months of use?
