Mine is Star Walk 2. Such a great widgets. Tell you how is the condition for stargazing in percentage, How bright is the moon in percentage and when the sun set (and rise) in such a small widget.

Used to love DailyArt but after new update the widget gone from this beautiful art on your desktop..

..to this hideous article news style widget. Do they forget their app called "Art"?
Not only they make the "art" smaller they manage to make texts smaller as well so everything now is smaller and harder to see or read. A complete failure.

Now what is/are yours?

The notes and batteries widgets. The battery widget is the only one that displays my Bluetooth speaker remaining battery. All third-party apps will display it once then it will disappear or won't update. Also, the notes app is good for using as a clipboard copy.

I'm a man of simple tastes. I've been wanting the official desktop analogue clock back since it was dropped in the Noughties. Have been using third-party versions since then.

So, the Clock widget. :)

Weather is a close second.

The Widget that I got excited about, when they first came out, was the Ski Area widget. Was going to tell me the base, weather, and grooming of my favorite ski areas (I live in UT).
Only a couple areas supported it, and then none did, and then I got two PEs and can't ski anymore, so that was that.
Sigh.

I do use the battery widget on my iPad, and should probably add it to my laptop.

I added a bunch of widgets and I don't think I've used them once. Then I deleted them while chasing a sleep battery use issue (which ended up being completely unrelated) and to this day I don't miss them.

Widgets look cool but honestly I don't see much utility in them.

You do know the Home App has been on the Mac for years.

Well, sure.. You can do all the things a widget can do from with it's respective app. We're talking about useful widgets here. I've been using the Home App on my Macs for years, too, but being able to do a quick swipe and one click to set a scene in my office is an amazing time saver and totally a "Whoa, Apple was totally thinking" thing to do.
