for those of you running vista with boot camp what is your windows experience index rating? don't forget to include your hardware

MacBook Pro 2.2 ghz C2D, 4 gb RAM, 120 gb 5400 rpm hdd, 128mb GeForce 8600M GT

Memory(RAM): 4.8
Graphics: 5.9
Gaming graphics: 5.4
Primary hard disk: 4.5

so overall 4.5 since it goes by lowest score... and from what i understand these scores are out of a possible 5.9

Weird... I have the exact same laptop but with 2GB, and I have the same 4.8 score on my RAM, and a 4.9 for the primary hard disk. My HD is partitioned 80GB for Mac and 80GB for Windows... I wonder why we got the same score for RAM and a different score for the HD? Although, it does say that the RAM is based on "Memory operations per second" so I guess it's just calculating the RAM's speed, not its capacity...

That's really weird. I have the same laptop (except with 2 gigs of RAM), and here is my stuff:

Memory: 4.8

20" iMac 2.66 ghz C2D, 2 gb RAM, 320 gb 7200 rpm hdd, 256mb Radeon HD 2600M XT

So, my overall base score is 5.4 out of 5.9. From what I understand, that's pretty damn good. I was checking over some games, and it seems most of the high-end games need a score of 5.0 or higher. I'm very satisfied with this iMac so far in both Vista and OS X. I bet the top of the line 24" iMac would get a 5.9 since it has the 512MB Radeon 5600 XT and a faster processor.

5.1 is my lowest (RAM), which I plan on upgrading here very soon.

I'm not on my Vista partition atm so I don't know the exact numbers for each.

HD performance can be affected by the position of the Boot Camp
partition. The position is affected by the size of the two partitions.

Disk performance in a Boot Camp partitioned disk is suboptimal under
Windows. Reading and writing is done faster to the outer cylinders.

My lowest is 5.6 that's my processor. I also get 5.8 for 3d graphics everything else is at 5.9.
