Is it a difficult thing to change the Ipad's keyboard to other lang?

I would like to know what it takes since I want to port it locally.

are you sure its not possible to have different keyboard lang?

Other than those that ship with the OS? I'm pretty confident you can't add them. If you can find something in the documentation that says otherwise then I'm happy to be proven wrong.

Perhaps if you explain, in more detail, exactly what you are trying to do then alternative suggestions can be made?

Basically I just want to be able to type in Hebrew with the original keyboard and not use 3rd party apps that will use the entire screen real estate.

If Hebrew is not a language that Apple ship as a choice then you are basically out of luck until they do. The SDK does not provide any way to add languages/keyboards. The only way to do it is in your own app only and even then you have to fake the entire keyboard...
