What iTunes version to use with 1.1.1 unlocked iPhone?

I have bought an unlocked iPhone with 1.1.1 firmware. What version of iTunes is safe to use?

I'm running an unlocked iPhone on 1.1.1 with the latest version of iTunes on my Mac.

Not sure if you're Mac or Windoze, but on the Mac the latest version is good.

Just don't update the firmware when it asks you if you want to. Say no and click the don't ask me again box.

HELLO, I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE AS ERIKAMMM, BUT I HAVE A WINDOWS PC, SO WHAT VERSION OF ITUNES WOULD YOU SUGGEST WITH A UNLOCKED IPHONE Firmware 1.1.1.....ALSO I'M GETTING THIS MESSAGE WHEN CONNECT TO MY PC WITH THE CURRENT VERSION OF ITUNES THAT I HAVE: Click ATTACHMENT BELOW....MUCH THANKS!!

I'm using Windows, and I ended up downloading the version 7.4.2, as advised by the guy who sold me the unlocked iPhone.... But it won't Sync, and I get a message saying that they can't read the iPhone and that I should restore it to factory settings.

What should I do??
