I was just surfing the net when a grey line started from the top of the screen and progressed down to the bottom overlapping everything with grey then a message came up saying i have to hold down the power and restart...wtf was this about?

It was a kernel panic. What exactly were you doing at the time? Do you have any third party hardware installed or connected? Do you have any third party RAM installed? If it happens again, check Console in the Utilities folder to see if the crash logs caught anything. :)

Ok it just happened again.. I had itunes, safari, ical running. I was using the batery also

Theres a whole bunch of stuff in console but i have no clue what it means.

I honestly know nothing about kernel panics or anything but from that it looks like iCal caused it.

Is that the right log? I might be wrong but that looks more like a general system log file. There should be a file called panic.log in the /library/logs/ folder with the actual crash info.

Here is the panic log...

Well, it's not working fine now. :p :)

Apply all available updates to your computer and see if that helps. My recollection is that one of the recent ones has helped with this AirPort issue.

Are you using any kind of wireless security? I know I've been reading about how some people have been getting kernel panics from Airport, but only when they're using WPA2 (or maybe it's WPA, I can't remember. I'll look it up).

Well...its not working right anymore so its time to update to see if that helps.
If not, its time to take it to Apple.
